@nonameplayer That is what the disease addiction does. Think about an alcoholic. Why can some drink and control it others ruin their lives because of the there genetic makeup is or their life is going poorly so they use alcohol or drugs to pep it up. Stay sober. Addictive drugs will damage your brain and your thought process goes illogical and your family and friends hurt for you, or shame you.

@wisam1991 Yes the drug Ritalin, which NIDA is finding out may be more addictive than Cocaine. Google the study by Dr. Yong Kim. My son Sean could have done fine without Ritalin. I believe he started using them in excess for all nighters to study long hours for college test. It was working at first. He then needed more and his brain was damaged, so he could not rationalize that he was hurting himself. It's not an illness where you can see the symptoms unless you have a brain scan.

@SupaKaream Ant time you alter your body's chemistry your body will counter by not producine the dopamine and serotonine if it senses there is a high level. Your most critical organ is your brain. You can't get a brain transplant. Accept what gifts you have an forget the pseudo-intellectuals that tell you this is the way to move to a higher level and get an edge with no risk. I don't believe it.

Anything that alters your brain is going to throw off your brains ability to produce it's own chemicals like endorphins and serotonin. You will notice changes in how you feel, and funny things won't be funny anymore. Stop or try something natural.

@Bruno243141 the only negative affect jerking off can have on the body is that it reduces the testosterone level in your body the only reason i say that's negative is if it's high you have bigger muscles you feel like you have more energy that sort of thing it's physical not mental.

@sausage4mash Salt is natural it is sodium and chloride NaCl, but put a hydrogen in place of the chloride and you have hydrogen chloride which in water becomes hydrochloric acid. Is hydrochloric acid natural. No you make it in the lab or refinery.

@64Albere I don't believe doctors understand how the brain is effected by some of these chemicals. If something is a supplement it's not even regulated for purity and dosage. I would be careful. I would hate to find out 2-3 years from now it causes damage or brain cancer.

I usually take 4,800mg Capsuled Neuro Boost Piracetam from "Smart Drugs for Thought" with a Cholinergic source (CDP choline or Alpha GPC. Piracetam stimulates the functions of the ACh receptors which are implicated in the memory processes. A cholinergic increases the production of ACh transmitters. There is more information @ Smart Drugs for Thought about this synergistic combination. 4,800mg twice a day with 600mg Alpha GPC in the morning usually does a fair amount for me in a day.

Sure it will you a boost, but do you really want to become dependent on these chemicals just for a slight increase in cognitive ability? Train your brain to be self sufficient, who wants to take this shit for the rest of their lives? Exercise, sleep, and regular study should do the trick.

Cognitive enhancers are considered what then? Adderall and stuff?
Also, Nootropics are like choline sources, pricetam, anirce, right?
    Just double checking.
