The best smartdrugs and nootropics for creative production

I’m excited about changes in culture that have allowed self-improvement through chemistry and lifestyle choices to become more open and accessible (after decades of repressive anti-drug ideology). I see this in the rise of “smart drug” culture as well as a shift towards huge new supplement companies selling “god pills” that aim to enhance creative production and improve daily output. In this video I talk a little bit about the subject, some of the supplements or pharmaceuticals being used (and their effects) and also some things you really need to watch out for if you’re experimenting with nootropics.

Very interesting. I've experimented with some nootropics before with mixed results. For me it seemed too much effort for too little reward. At least at the time. There were basic things like improving my diet and exercise routines that had more of an effect. But now that I've made those changes I'll probably give those things another look.

Derek, is this weird? Energy drinks more often than not make me tired. Last night I drank 2 monsters (250mg caffeine total combined) and I was out cold within an hour. Do you think it's due to the sugar level spike?
I run ads for a Chiropractor and he hooks me up with his own proprietary product called Nitroburn. This seems to work well, no crash, no jitters. If I'm tired nothing can keep me awake…my body just takes over. Any recommendations?

Those drugs won't work if I'm feeling lazy or discouraged. What I need is more motivation. Like candy. Or girls. Or coffee. Or girls. Or seeing a new movie I wanted to see… with a girl.

I agree about choline. Modafinil is good for productivity (It makes me very anxious if I take too much – 300mg+) but you do build up a resistance to it, so it is important to cycle off it for about a month or so. Never tried Adderall but would be open to trying it.
