Advanced Guide to Choline in Nootropic Stacks
This video is an advanced guide to choline in nootropic stacks.
Because choline is often the center of a great nootropic stack. Without adequate levels of choline in your brain, the rest of your stack is unlikely to work very well.
Choline is needed by your body for liver function, normal brain function and development, nerve function, muscle movement, cellular energy and metabolism.
Choline assists in methylation involved in genetic expression and the repair of DNA, nerve signaling, and detoxification.
Your brain has a huge appetite for choline. It is critical for the synthesis of the key neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Which your brain uses to maintain clear communication between its billions of neurons.
In fact, choline is so vital to cognition and nerve function that, without it, we couldn’t move, think, sleep or remember anything.
Choline and acetylcholine are needed for the basics of attention, focus, memory, mood, thinking, and sleep.
Not enough choline and you deal with poor recall, memory loss, fatigue, brain fog, inability to learn, feeling irritable or distracted, and difficulty walking or staying balanced.
In this video we’ll cover stacking racetams with choline, who needs choline, and the best forms of choline supplements to choose from. Including how they work in your brain. And the benefits of each.

Thanks for the video. I am taking a nootropic stack called Brainzyme and it has 145 mg choline per capsule (I take 2 as recommended). Would this be regarded as a high dosage of choline? Thanks again.

Thanks for the infos! That was super well presented and straight to the point 🙂 I have a question though
The daily recommended intake for choline is 550mg but, as you explained, the choline per weight varies. I'm assuming the daily recommendation is based on the form of choline that is in food which is phosphatidylcholine. With that in mind, how much CDP-choline do you think is needed to get an equivalent? (assuming we're not getting any choline from food)

Hi, I've been trying piracetam recently. In the beginning it was absolutely a great nootropic, but then after a couple of days I started feeling sleepy, falling asleep whenever I took piracetam. I tried Alpha GPC, but it felt like it would reduce sleepiness for a short time before I got sleepy again. I would try up to 600mg Alpha GPC for 1800mg piracetam, but the sleepy feeling wouldn't go away. Do you have any ideas why I am getting sleepy from piracetam? Much Obliged.

Considering choline can be derived from the phosphatidylcholine found in the cell membranes when there's no alternative, do you think the body will always be in a "limited consumption mode" if we only supplement it with phosphatidylcholine?
In other words, will the body thrive on choline or just survive with the smallest required amount if we only give it phosphatidylcholine? Assuming no choline is received from the diet.

My current stack.. 150MG of Armodafinil. (Mylan generic) 20MG of Noopept.. 400MG of Caffeine.. 200MG L-Theanine.. 350MG of Choline Bitartrate.. I'm new to nootropics, any advice on if this is an effective stack? Also I didn't know there were differences with Choline. Is Bitartrate not affective? I'm also wondering if the generic Armodafinil I'm taking isn't as effective as the Nuvigil brand.
