Episode 4: Boost Dopamine With This Nootropic

In this episode, Lucas explores an exotic dopamine-boosting nootropic called 9-MBC (9-Methyl-Beta-Carboline).
He explains the key benefits, actions and uses for this research chemical. He explains how this nootropic upgrades dopamine to increase your zest for life. 9-MBC improves the efficiency of the respiratory chain, leading to potentially enhanced cognitive and athletic performance. It increases the rate of neurotrophin synthesis, which can lead to memory and learning enhancement.
It is, in short, the most well-rounded and effective nootropic available. It delivers clean stimulation, and sharper, faster thinking. And unlike so many other nootropics, the effects of which are disappointingly transient, the pro-cognitive benefits derived from 9-MBC should be very long-lasting.

Interesting. As I am a healthy adult who does not go to the doctor, nor take medication, I plan to try this. I am 70 years old and my father contracted Parkinson's Disease some years ago. I know that this disease does not kill, but it certainly made him ready to go at the age of 85. His brain was still strong – he was reading history and following advances in science right up to the end, but a life of shaking and lack of co-ordination was too much to keep fighting for. Thank you for sharing the information.

Thank you Lucas. Always on the cutting edge of nootropic research. I am impressed with your passion of the work you do and the generous contributions you are making to many.

    My first experience.
Unfortunately my scale could not accurately dose between 10-50mg so although I am sure it is somewhere in between this dose I can not say exactly where.
I take 200mg a day of caffeine almost religiously every morning. And in most cases another 200mg 4 hours later (8am then 12pm)
I am VERY aware of how 200mg of caf affects me.
After taking my first dose of 9mbc Aprox 2 hours of my caffeine dose here is my experience.
15-20 minutes in I begin to feel as though I just popped another 200mg dose of caffeine. Not instantaneously, but where you first notice it and then know it will continue to build over the next 5-10 minutes to where you eventually reach your caffeine zone from taken dose.
Well in this case after the first 15-20 minutes and noticing this, the next 10 minutes are spent considering this May just be a placebo effect so no jumping to conclusions. The next 10 minutes are spent leaning towards accepting that there is definitely a rise in stimulated state and that this isn’t a placebo.
The next 15-20 minutes is now hoping that this is not going to continue increasing in intensity and hopefully finds a levelling off. Now finally an hour and 10 minutes later I fell like the effects have found a levelled off zone.
I definitely have an alertness that feels like I popped 400mg of caffeine at once but without as much of the abrasive potentially anxiety producing effects that taking too much caffeine can cause.
There’s no way I could take a nap right now but at the same time when I imagine putting myself in a usually anxiety producing setting I don’t feel prone to be overwhelmed by the typical anxiety that would come with that.
So far I would say this is on par with taking 100mg of modafinal after a long time without any.
