Mr. DeLauer sure is on some of these. I had to check if I havent forgot the playback speed at 1.25x
I use this speed for some slow youtubers. He may sound better at 0.75x at times ?

Phenylethylamine in cocoa is quickly metabolised. It doesnt even make it into the brain. But wait, there's a hack – a weak monooxidase inhibitor like hordenine makes it a drug making you high. I've found it on nootropic hacks dot com

What about orange juice?

Green tea has some interaction with Sex hormone-binding globulin levels. Small amount is better. L-theanine is known to restore GABA receptors. One of the only drugs that can help with benzo withdrawal symptoms. People can have seizures and even die while quitting benzodiazepines. L-Theanine works as caffeine antagonist in a way. That's why you dont get anxious from tea as you get from coffee

I’ve been enjoying the four sigmatics brand of lions mane coffee for almost a year now. It’s certified organic and I add coconut oil for the wake up kick. I’ll add turmeric to it and see if it’s gives me an extra wow to add to my mornings. An epic sponsor partner ?

In an older video you mentioned rhodiola could preserve the effects of lion's mane for the longer term, why isn't it mentioned anymore? Are there any side effects that have been found?
Tina Perez
For anxiety, I started with GABA which had an instantaneous positive effect. Then, after more research, I replaced that with ashwaganda. I add rhodiola especially when excercising and/or any physically exerting / manual labor project. But ashwaganda is my main anti-anxiety substance. If I need more calming down, I'll add l-theanine. Http and l-tyrosine tend to make me sleepy.

Dude you live the dream, experimenting on yourself, getting sponsored, advertising things you believe in, learning new stuff from different angles! You are the coolest nerd I know! lol

What are your thoughts on ashwagandha? it’s more so classified as an adaptogen rather then a nootropic, but it has some nootropic effects. It’s a natural herb, and I’m wondering if it can have the same negative affects of cognitive decline and growing a dependency as some of the other nootropics. Being this is a natural herb that’s been used for centuries I assume it’s safe or maybe safer, I would just like your input.

Hi, Thomas I have a question I am 65 noticed my brain feels foggy I started taking vitamin b complex and mushroom complex along with vitamin d3 and vitamin c is it ok to take all these on a daily?
Mark Balogh
Doesn't tumeric increase superoxide dismutase
Mark Balogh
Is he talking about the flavonoids in berries anthocyanins ?
Enzo Loves you
Im just an amateur but the thing with lions mane is that its not that instant. You usually need to take it for a while (two weeks or so) to get the full effects. its a long term thing if you want to really want change and improvement.
But i find it still leaves you in a better spot than you started. Nerve growth lasts.
I wonder if mixing it with the coffee speeds that whole process up. Personally I'm just not big on coffee because it just seems like an addiction thats too commonly accepted so it commercialised. Thats just my take tho. In moderation it's fine.

You says “turmeric as a whole” and “a lot of people put too much focus on curcumin and take it for granted” but every study you pull up specifically references curcumin ?
What are the other beneficial compounds in turmeric outside of curcumin?
Sisel International
Good point about taking turmeric, not just curcumin. We did a video on natural nootropics recently, too. Thanks for putting out great, science-backed content!

It's been said that Lion's Mane reduces libido.

as far as berries they all have flavonoids such as Anthocyanidins but not all berries are created equal as far as this. blueberries are better choice than most other berries but bilberries (European blueberries) elderberries and Aronia (chokecherries) are higher than blueberries and other berries in Anthocyanidins and flavonoids in general.
BiohacksHQ
Nootropics are dietary supplements built to safely optimize cognition by manipulating cognitive functions in the brain. They help the brain operate more efficiently by filling in the gaps in our cognitive functions.
