ALL plant combustion is carcinogenic…and guess what THC is? Organic neurotoxic insecticide..try wiping your ass with poison ivy if you think plants dont do chemical warfare

It has to be the right strain. Much of the super potent stuff out there now can cause intense paranoia and discomfort. I found extracts to be the best fit for me years ago. Have not used it since i moved away from a legal state.

Who cares. Psilocybin mushrooms are much more therapeutic than inhaling something that is on fire but yet here we are this is legal and mushrooms aren’t I’ve gotta break the law to enjoy what I like I say all or none legalize all or throw these reefer heads in jail

and all the while cannabis was illegal the government was studying ever thing about the cannabis plant, and now hold 7 patents on cannabis compounds discovered during those years of research by good ole uncle Sam!.

Western biomedical minds like Ryan Vandry's (Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins University) are the THE reason cannabis is so popular for healing – because people in tremendous pain and fear need an alternative to managed care telling them what is valid and what is not.

9:37 "When you look at individuals who have PTSD and use cannabis…if all they do is use cannabis and they don't engage in other behavior therapies to help work through their trauma, they're not treating the root cause of the disorder." He's assuming incorrectly what someone is going to be doing while recovering, assuming what is a valid behavior therapy, and assuming that behavior therapy is the only way someone can process trauma. AND that he and his ilk are the only ones in position to say how any of that should be defined vetted or used.

Don't cannabis users often use with friends? Community is healing. Or do creative things, or journal while high? I know people who have had breakthroughs while high, who feel compelled to start a gratitude or a forgiveness practice that moment, or to pray to God, or to send compassion and healing to someone they've hurt. That's far more healing and valid – to me at least – than psychiatry's reproducible gold standards of measurement.

I hate cannabis. It caused paranoia, uncontrollable shaking while under the influence, dry mouth, munchies and yeah, weight gain. What I really hate is how so many people only pay attention to the good feeling it gives and ignore all the other effects of cannabis.

I remember about ten years ago there were official government statistics showing 75% of all murders, 90% of violent crime, and 50% of all traffic deaths in a year were alcohol related. There was 1 traffic death connected to cannabis intoxication in a year. In 1972 my brother had a book called "Marijuana Reconsidered". It was written by an attorney. He described the test they used to determine the lethal dose of THC at the National Institutes of Health. They injected a full gram of pure THC resin dissolved in alcohol into the jugular vein of a 25 pound dog. No filtration through the lungs etc., straight to the brain. I can't recall the name for this test, but it is the standard clinical procedure for determining the lethal does of all substances, The lab animal dies form the original massive dose, and then they cut the dose in half for the next subjects one at a time until one survives. The researchers fully expected the dog to die. There are VERY few substances on the face of the earth where 1 gram into the jugular won't be fatal. The dog slept for 18 hours and had no permanent ill effects. Beyond the racial and social acceptance issues compared to alcohol and tobacco, cannabis greatly reduces aggressive behavior, arrogance, and increases feelings of empathy, the exact opposite of the effects of alcohol. This is why 90% of all armies throughout history have marched into battle under the influence of alcohol, and the other main reason cannabis was made illegal. Finally, as I put it, cannabis is illegal because it makes people think twice about working themselves to death for 40-50 years of their lives so some rich guy can buy another penthouse apartment to take his 17 year old secretary to for an extra marital affair.
