I think theres a lot of human mythology in Dune.

of course, if you read all the books right to the end it just tells us what goes around comes around as the end is just a new beginning or is it the original beginning is the whole story about a time loop

I love the 1985 movie. It's just beautiful. The book is of course better.
Also, while the Bene Geseret did plant messianic prophecies hundreds of years to "pave the way", Paul IS the "Kwisatz Haderach" because he can see the future. The book is more about seeing the future and how he sets humanity on the "golden path" by a lot of bloodshed and ruling as an emperor. Paul is horrified about what he "has to" do really.
Things like that do interest me in these times of global collapse.
