Yeah, my emotions are numbed out in recent times, but it helped me with anxiety and getting more calm in social situations. I've ran through my 120 pills and I will make a pause to check.

I have experienced the side effects with Ashwaghanda and I have to say that I like it. That with my antipsychotic meds cancels out the overstimulation in my brain so I’m much calmer

Ashwaghanda caused major aggression and reactivity for me on multiple occasions. Scary shit. I feel way better and more in control of my emotions since I stopped taking it

There is absolutely no dark side of Ashwagandha! I have been taking it for several years, no problem at all. What could be the problem is that Ashwagandha is now being manufactured by pharmaceutical companies and marketed as being the ORIGINAL! These are the FAKE ones people need to be careful of. The original Ashwagandha has been used for thousands of years without any so-called Dark Side!

DHT is a completely useless compound in adult males. all it does is increase body hair, head hair thinning and balding. it also enlarges ur prostate. so why worry about things that block it?

I took ashwagandha for 6 months. I am a jittery person who wants to fucking destroying everything, my energy felt more pure but i felt like I wasn't able to go fucking beastmode like before, I was calm to the point where nothing mattered, so I stopped taking it, maybe It was just a bad season but that was how I felt

I find 1 goli gummy ksm-66 works best in the morning with shilajit before working out. 1 gummy is only 150mg of ksm-66 ashwaghanda. I feel very balanced and non anxious the entire day.

Been taking 250mg a day for few weeks, it really helps with my anxiety and feels calm, but it really affects my workout, no motivation no drive. Just feels horrible in the gym.

This probably happens at high doses or extracts which are concentrated.

Like 500mg of Ashwagandha Raw Whole Root Powder along with Milk seems to be the sweet spot.

If you take 500mg extract which is equivalent approximately 10 grams of Ashwagandha, which is quite high and not full spectrum.

What about ashwaghanda with ksm 66? What's the difference. I take this along with about 10 other supplements as a daily ritual along with workout routine and to be honest I feel like I have energy with my total intake but don't know how any of these affect me individually because I pretty much started all at the same time. I don't feel any kind of way as far as mood goes that I can tell but then again I used to be on drugs, the hard stuff, so stuff like this is probably child's play to my brain, I feel like it might be more of a placebo for me where because I believe I'm living healthy I am healthy and so I feel as such. Thoughts anyone?.

So I am Indian (now in the US) and Ashwagandha is an Indian herb. It is actually prescribed to reduce depression and improve emotional regulation by ayurvedic doctors, in fact the negative(?) side effect mentioned here is the reason why its prescribed to Indian women who have trouble with emotional regulation. So I am not convinced that this is a negative effect. I take KSM 66 daily (600mg) and I like the detached and regulated feeling I get from it. I feel more composed. I think that a lot of people take it solely because of its t-boosting benefits, but there are other herbs for that. I think a lot of the criticism also stems from the fact that we live in an overstimulated world and we feel like we need a "hit" at all times.

Always be careful before taking any substance. I took this for a couple of weeks to help with stress about more than a year ago. It seem to have made my anxiety worse (or given me where I didn't have before). After intake, I would feel an overall tingling from head to toe to my fingers. There's this sinking feeling as if I just held my breath for a while and short of feeling breathless. I ignored it and thought this is it working to my advantage.

My symptom is that all discomfort (temperature, pain/itch, lack of sleep/low energy, tired, noise, hunger/thirst/cravings, cramped space, poor/bright lighting, etc.) would also be expressed with anxiety. Like I would get palpitations, shortness of breath, and panic sort of anxiety. I also find it hard to enjoy things and be motivated. Exercise don't give me satisfaction (I still do it though). Now I genuinely believe I have clinical depression.

What really helped me was mindfulness. I also have a checklist of possible discomforts I'm currently experiencing, and make sure I'm mindful when I'm tired or when I lack sleep to give myself allowance to be in discomfort but be okay about it if not address it.

I took ashwagandha daily for a week and a half and I had to stop because I started having a negative effect. It definitely makes you feel like you can take on the world, so you actually try to take on The world if you know what I'm getting at. Not sure if that means my testosterones were already elevated and having ashwagandha pushed it to the edge but nonetheless I have to stop taking it.
