The Holy Trinity of Fungal Nootropics

This is your brain on shrooms
???

I wanted to share some information I’ve been researching on the nootropic effects of certain mushrooms.
The mushrooms mentioned in this video are:

1.Psilocybin- for neuroplasticity and neurogenesis

2.Lions mane- for neurogenesis

3.Amanita muscaria- for neuroprotection

This is a fun area of study for me, I love learning about nootropics. If you have more to add please share!

Studies:
Psilocybin:

Michael, intuitively I believe you are on to something and of course the science backing this up is outstanding. You are on the right path and please to keep your research forthcoming. There is much light coming from you and a few others in this community. Bless you for your care and sharing . Cheers from Nebraska ❣

Thank you for sharing. I read that adding 'Niacin' in addition to Lions mane and psilocybin can be a very effective combination. Take care…. Cheers from Wisconsin.

Funny thing is I’ve been talking about this and called it the holy trinity as well for the last couple months…. Wonder if we know some of the same people being that we are both in the mushroom business?

I’ve micro/macro dosed Amanita Muscaria and Lions Mane since December. Chocolate in my Mexican coffee mocha, daily for years. I’ve thought about adding psilocybin, but at 65 years old, I think that will suffice. The addition of Lions Mane has been worth every penny and I began noticing greater cognition and memory within the first two weeks. A.M. has left me feeling more my "old self" since adding that. Thanks for the info, Michael?

Ive been thinking along the same lines in regards to reversing brain damage caused by covid, Side effects like tinnitus and parastheasia (burning sensations) and the loss of taste and smell which is damage to the nerve endings in the pharynx (nasal passage). The neuroregenerative properties of the pscilocybe could potentially reverse that damage to the glial cells (the myelin sheath is made up of whats known as the glial cells.)
For the record, im a research scientist in the feild of pharmacognosy, (discovering new medicines from plants). The most recent research publications on particularly pscilocybin have been incredibly interesting as no other known substance causes neurogenesis. Definately worth looking into, its ideas like this that win people the nobel prize in medicine. Keep up the good work 🙂

Nice vid, you know when someone is interested, set upon deeming and sharing why, I have always been stumped on wether there is oil or olio resins in mushrooms ? Amanita in particular so my quandary is, can ABV extract well without water the goodies of amanita or if there is no fat, than what good is the ABV than over say 40 % alcohol?

I make tea, vinegar and glass and crackers and biscuits, ice wine and pickles, the glass is by crushing and drying the blood, but what I want is Amanita in a tincture and wonder if an oil is better, is water the best and why do they bury the mushrooms ? in alcohol, is it the water that does the extract and the alcohol only is the preservatives or is just for drunkenness and an we make a paste and what about spagerics and say the Source Turbo?

    Sorry for the enthusiasm.

I'm also interested in medicinal fungi, for the body & mind. I especially, feel drawn to Amanita Muscaria. I believe that I would benefit greatly from being able to microdose & also to make an oil rub of this fungi for my painful spasms & joints. I'm not trying to trip, as I never have tripped.
