If You Could Only Take 3 Supplements: Choose These (My Picks)



So let’s say for some reason you could only take three supplements or vitamins. Maybe you can only afford those three or just didn’t want to be taking a lot of pills each morning. Whatever reason you wanted to know which three you should take. What’s the most bang for your buck? What are the most important ones?

I made this Youtube video to answer those questions. So what are the three best supplements to take?

1. Vitamin D3: I beat this like a dead horse on my channel all the time. You really only get it from the sun and guess what….The Sun doesn’t answer to you. So supplementation is crucial especially during the winter months and if you have an indoor job you work during the day. Both scenarios spell disaster if you aren’t supplementing with vitamin D.

2. Fish Oil: Another strong emphasis of my channel, Omega-3:Omega-6 fatty acid ratio. Long story short a bad ratio (too much Omega-6) means major inflammation in the body. Inflammation that eventually leads to chronic disease. Our western diets are full of vegetable oils filled with Omega-6 fatty acids. Boost you Omega-3 with fish oil and reduce vegetable oil consumption.

3. Zinc: Zinc is highly involved with your body’s mechanisms for immunity and it works in tandem with Vitamin D. Studies show massive reduction is virus type sicknesses when heavy doses of vitamin D and Zinc are taken. Zinc is also beneficial for muscle growth, maintenance and testosterone production. But why does it make it to #3 on my list. Our bodies don’t store it. We need to get it from food or supplement sources every day to maintain high levels.

Calcium- For those 55 and older
B12- For those eating a vegan diet
B vitamins: Energy in General
Creatine: Muscle Building, cognitive function, maintaining lean muscle mass
