Fake Sales to Get Fake Reviews on Amazon

The idea is when you’re starting off, don’t go for a supplement, why? Because you’re going to be competing with a lot of people. I mean try to get in the nootropic space. I’ve got, you know, I don’t know, a few dozen nootropic products that we sell. We’ve got nootropics for our customers, that is a market run by black hat people. So these people if you see lots of listings that have like 40 reviews, 60 reviews and they’re ranked number three, in an ultra aggressive category, those people are running Bots. They’ve got somebody in China working somewhere in Amazon or who’ve hacked the system somehow, they’re doing fake buys. They’re doing all kinds of hacks to manage to get to that ranking point. That is not a good place. Another 15 year old version of you having to put food on the table and they’re going to do whatever it takes to succeed. Yeah, well, you know, I mean we all know the Chinese. They got burner accounts. So there you can buy in bulk. You know, you go on any of the black hat sites or the dark web, you can buy in bulk hundreds, if not thousands of Amazon accounts for relatively low. So they’ll run you know, hey they’re going to run a brain supplement, they’re going to run whatever’s High Garcinia Cambogia or whatever those you know, diet that all the Dr Oz diet. They’re going to run that hard and fast on these accounts ,where they’ve got ranking for it. They’ll make 50 Grand, 60 Grand. The account will get cut for fake reviews. They got another one ready to go. Yep, right and they’re just continuing that thing. You don’t want to compete with it.
