Meditation is all about controlling mind and thought, if supplement is doing so , why need to meditate , many spend years mediating to achive relaxation and thoughtless mind

Does gaba sincerely work at all? I've seen some videos about study that as it doesn't cross BBB and it's useless? While they say u should use l-theanine instead which in matter of fact doesn't do thing for me. (am interested in trying gaba now as well that's why I'm asking, in advance thanks for your answer)
