HERBIVORE ?? Emerald Cannabis Sativa Hemp Seed Deep Moisture Glow Oil Review

I find it crazy and fun how many cannabis themed skincare products have been coming out lately. Herbivore got on the bandwagon and release their Emerald Cannabis Sativa Hemp Seed Deep Moisture Glow Oil. Herbivore also has another version of the Emerald Oil coming out soon. This version will have a very small percentage of active CBD in it which is said to treat a whole host of issues. This version will be released to Washington state first. The Emerald is a nice oil that gives skin nice hydration and it absorbs rather quickly. I’ve been using Emerald in the evening and in the morning (when my skin is feeling overly dry). Emerald plays well with other products and doesn’t cause pilling, Emerald also doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy. I like the additional oils they have included in this. This does have a very light citrus fragrance from a proprietary blend of essential oils, but the scent dissipates almost immediately. Adding this into my skin care routine has given my skin a boost of hydration. I also mix this with other products (vitamin C oil) and this works well. Very nice product, if you are looking for a good oil and don’t have very sensitive skin (fragrance) the Herbivore Emerald Cannabis Sativa Hemp Seed Deep Moisture Glow Oil is worth checking out.

Yes… another brand boasting cannabis! Just as you stated, I wish there was more empirical evidence to support all its beauty claims.
Sarah, have you reviewed the Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate & Glow Oil? I was using Lancer but need to find another less pricy oil. I got a small sample of the YTTP oil from Sephora last week. So far so good!! I love it, but would love your expert opinion(s) if you are familiar with this product.
Your hair is gorgeous and your skin just glows, girl!!

Your reviews are some of my favorite on YouTube, and the products you choose are right up my alley as well. Thanks for looking into all the new products cropping up now that cannabis is more mainstream. Looking forward to the next installment of no BS Cannabis, and I'm glad that so far your experiences are positive. Though the packaging always seems to be lacking.

Their is a lot of information on Ashwaghanda…but not for topical use. If you look it up, has tons. Excellent for stress. The truth is all of these topicals are questionable IMO. Like even turmeric topically doesn’t have a ton of research. I think its a marketing grab, all fluff with little substance. To say it out performs any other well formulated face oil is a stretch. Nothing wrong with it, just not ground breaking to me. Great review as always. ????

Hey dear, just going through your cannabis product reviews. As for the herb "Ashwagandha", you stated here that you've never heard of it before, and why would they put that in there. In India, there is a Vedic science of medicine, and Ashwagandha is one of the top herbs there, it is an "adaptogen" like ginseng, rhodiola, St. John's Wort (in Western Medicine), and the like. It has been on their medical charts, used for the people in India and S. E. Asia for THOUSANDS of years, but only in the last 20 or so years been used in Western alternative/herbal medicine. It is one that adapts the body to stress, helping it to calm down, and relax the mind, and relax the skin, etc. I guess if you rid your body of excess cortisol that your body makes under stress, it can react the way it is supposed to. I am taking it for stress/grief right now. (as I mentioned to you in another blog post comment.) So, I might get some internal support from it vs.external support from a cream, but it is good to know about that Farmacy cream. I liked what it had in it, but I looked at the price point and OUCH…but when you are getting a cream with those ingredients, and especially those that have more than 1-3 percent in it as well, you are going to pay for it! See you in the next vlog , then~.;-)

The first video I've seen of yours is the one related with Kiehl's cannabis seed oil and I was shocked about all the potential irritative ingredients it had, then I came here because someone on the comments suggested this oil. Based on your knowledge of the ingredients I have decided not to buy the Kiehl's oil and I'm planning on getting this. Would you recommend this oil for someone with combination skin, acne and sensitive and reactive skin with redness and hyperpigmentation? I'd really like to know your answer because I'm on the hunt for an oil which helps with this problems. By the way I'm amazed with how your skin looks, I am 28 years old and I wish I had your skin! Just subscribed because your reviews are AWESOME. Thank you so much.

I tried a sample of this and I’m surprised how much I like it. I have sensitive combination skin, prone to breakouts. Dryer now that I’m older. I did like the way this made my skin feel. The glow makes me look younger (I think). I looked up videos because I wasn’t sure how it is supposed to be used. Thanks for the info!
