The stimulation from bromantane is too … "synthetic" even worse than caffeine. It completely turns off my creativity for productivity, a bit like modafinil. This is the biggest con imo.
I take it on cycles of 6 weeks two or three times a year to upregulate TH. You don't need to take it daily year-round, you still feel the benefits after discontinuation.

General Usage
I'm not surprised that bromantane would help with your speech impediment. Bromantane acts by increasing the expression of genes involved in the dopamine biosynthetic pathway. Dopamine is used by the brain in the basal ganglia as an inhibitory neurotransmitter to inhibit excess movement, essentially making movements initiated and coordinated elsewhere in the brain more precise and deliberate. In fact, lacking dopamine is why people with Parkinson's disease have tremors. Now, how does this pertain to your speech impediment? Speech production, as you may know, is correlated with Broca's area in the left cerebral cortex; damage to this area results in aphasia, or inability to produce speech. Notably, Broca's area is actually part of the motor cortex, which is the region of your brain that initiates deliberate movements, such as those necessary to produce speech. These fine motor movements require a lot of coordination, especially to pronounce words like "Dartmouth" or "neurodevelopmental," and thus it makes sense that these actions would rely on dopaminergic inhibition in the basal ganglia to be cleaned up so that they don't repeat excessively, or muscles to freeze due to overstimulation (both of which can cause stuttering and other speech impediments).

ive been looking into this for a while and i might have to try it out as an alternative to other adhd medications that i've been on.. ive also been checking out adrafinil.. but this seems to do more than that with its functions. adderall works.. but it also increases anxiety for me.. same goes for most drugs in the amphetamine class.. but ive had mild success with weird things like bupropion, especially paired with agmatine. agmatine also makes amphetamines bearable.. but id rather not take those if i dont have to.. it seems theres a lot of good alternatives in the nootropic world.. bromantane is definitely something im going to experiment with in the near future. i also cant stand how retarded these studies are.. its almost like they're trying to make these things look bad.. its a similar thing with so many other substances that i've found beneficial.. one study comes out where rats are injected with massive doses directly into their brain stem and then no further studies are done.. dont get me wrong.. theres some fucked up nootropics.. but i dont think this is one of them lol.

Just ordered some with cyclazodone! Your pros and cons seem to negate each other. A pro you mentioned was more sociability and encouraged to be more social but then pose a con as being you’re too anxious to make social initiatives. You also mentioned it allows you to be more in the moment and think clearly but then you mentioned the con as being wired and your mind racing… bit confusing

Bromantane is a miracle.. It's like ADHD drugs without any side effects it's insane! No comedown… so far the effects seem to just build… and it's getting rid of my anxiety on top of basically curing my ADHD. Hi I am very curious about the "doesn't induce toletance" thing : even assuming it does not downregulate dopamine hyperprosuction (due to the enzyme inhibition), I would expect that the excessive dopamine around would downregulate capability of using such dopamine….kind of what happens when eg taking ssri and having as a result a lot of and around, or taking methylphenidate that creates lots of dopamine around and toletance start to build exactly because there is too much dopamine around….
