    Another thing that calms me is collagen. The first time I tried a supplement called bone broth with collagen peptides in it, I was so sleepy! The reason is because, similar to a bath, collagen brings the blood to the surface of skin, cooling and calming us.     Will try lemon balm, sounds good. Not a huge fan of other stuff on the list for sleeping other then zma. l-theanine should be good for winding down. I would also add rhodiola rosea to this list for winding down.

    Wonder why you didn’t mention gaba. It works relatively similar to phenibut, it just doesn’t cross blood-brain barrier, and because of this, gaba doesn’t have addictive side effects and gives a good sense of relaxation. It also boosts the release of growth hormone, which is also crucial, especially for athletes and people, which lack recovery.

    Question: you mentioned you took lemon balm for 30days. Did you find it helped you sleep on all 30 days? I currently take 1 or 2 elemental magnesium 1hr before bed, but want something more effective.

    Hey just bought L- tyrosine for more efficient studying at school, it was pretty cheap so I was like "why not". What dosages would you recommend to last most of the school day (from 9am-3pm) ?

    Thank you for your videos… I tried l-theanine after watching your video and found it really helped in my serious tinitus, serious fibromyalsia, muscle stiffness and tension, depression, anxiety, fatigue, face and ear pain, sinus and throat pains and brain pain. I am able to organise better and have some degree of life…I had tried many things and been on medication for years with little relief… your recommendation and advice really did change my life. I do take a significantly higher dose than what you recommended though. . I have only been taking it a few days at this point… don't yet know about the long term effectiveness at this point.

    This is weird because I am trying 5htp right now for insomnia and it is making the insomnia much worse..Just like Sentraline(antidepressant) did few months ago when I tried. Sentraline was prescribed to help to my anxiety and insomnia but made insomnia worse.

    It seems my brain does not like serotonin at all 😀

    I've been using lemon balm for about a week now and it gives me crazy vivid story-like dreams even on a half tablet! Only problem is that Ive been waking up really groggy on it and alot of times the dreams are not good. Last night I dreamt I got shot and it was actually physically painful. Even when I woke up I felt residual pain in that area. Crazy.

    I believe people who's on medication that lower the blood pressure needs to be cautios with Lemon Balm as it can lower the blood pressure as well which can lead to some very wierd and unhealthy interactions. That being said Lemon Balm is a great mild relaxing product, I highly enjoy it.

    I was reading up on trazodone. It apparently has evidence of neurogensis when combined with melatonin (time release form should be the only form people take). It has an antihistamine effect that seems to not diminish sleep cycles.
    It can give brain fog but goes away over time. It is an antidepressants so could make non depressed people worse.

    I took 5-htp and GABA every night for a year, maybe longer. It did help me sleep till it didn't. I got in the worst insomnia cycle of my life and thought I was going to have to go to the ER. I had insomnia induced psychosis and was hallucinating. Anyway, I stopped both supplements and now just take them once in a while. I think the GABA was probably ok but have read you shouldn't take 5-htp without taking breaks.

    Do you think that it would be worthwhile to couple this with Qualia Mind (Mind in the morning, Night in the evening) with 2 days off a week or would you lean toward choosing one or the other?

    Nice review ??. V. interesting regarding the Tribulus.
    Lemon balm is relaxing by it has a serious bladder irritant / dietetic effect on me – up repeatedly during night urinating.
    I like the fact you address the hyper-serotonin issue with 5HTP.
    ZMA works great but slightly concerned with the negative issues of too much B6 with neuropathy and hip fracture likelihood – might sub this out with mag glycinate + zinc carnosine, what do you think?
    Phenibut is great once a week to do a mega sleep binge / catch up.
    Wild lettuce is worth a try. Works pretty well for me.
    Surprised you didn't like gotu kola – maybe try it in a 50:50 ratio with bacopa, which is how they traditionally use it in Ayurveda tri-doshic (i.e suitable as a general tonic for everyone) and I've had really good results with that combo.
    TBH vaping a gram of medicinal grade hemp (i.e. with most of the THC removed) before bed is the best sleep aid I've ever tried ?

    Magnesium Glycinate worked for me .. easy to fall asleep + automatic wakeup in morning feeling fresh as wakefulness + im loading up on magnesium too + feeling relaxed . Its a Discovery for me.!!!
