Flow states are states of heightened focus that bring about enhanced reflexes, a sense of time dilation, creative problem solving, and a feeling of infallible calm. Nootropics are supplements, medications, and other compounds used with the somewhat-transhuman goal of enhancing human cognition to enhance productivity and performance. Seems like a match made in heaven, right? In this video, I discuss multiple different strategies you can use…

The blog: http://www.thebioneer.com Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/thebioneer Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/thebioneer Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/thebioneer This video is designed to act as your complete guide to nootropics and ‘smart drugs’. It will guide you through the way the brain works, how nootropics interact with our neurons and neurotransmitters and how you can use that to increase focus, boost brain plasticity, feel more confident and more. My Top Nootropics for a Stronger Brain
This is a guide to the top nootropics that I am using right now. If you’ve seen my previous videos, you’ll know that I generally avoid anything that acts like a stimulant, or that boosts one neurotransmitter at the expense of others. I’m not a huge fan of things with lots of caffeine, modafinil or the racetams. What I do like though, are nootropics that strengthen brain health, that act as precursors and building blocks for neurotransmitters and that are neuroprotective. I also like nootropics that encourage brain plasticity and I’m keen on boosting testosterone. This selection provides a bit of everything, so watch the video for more! If you…

I don’t really recommend either unless your doctor has prescribed them for actual social anxiety… And really, do you want to change your personality with medication? You’re supposed to say no at this point… There are better things you can do –…

Nootropics vs Super Hexagon: Reaction Time and Pattern Recognition
I recorded myself playing Super Hexagon while using Modafinil, Caffeine + L-Theanine and Phenylpiracetam and compared all three conditions vs ‘baseline’. Super Hexagon is an awesome and very simple game that’s ideal for testing your reaction times and forces rapid decision making (should you go left or right?). It requires a lot of focus and pattern recognition. Seeing as the military has apparently tested the likes of modafinil on fighter pilots, I wondered whether any of these conditions might improve my performance. Many pro gamers also use nootropics. My findings are fairly inconclusive but it’s safe to say I’m still shite under all conditions. As I’ve said before, I don’t…
